January Currently

Happy New Year everyone! I hope y'all had a great time with NYE festivities last night. I'm not a party animal by any means, but I didn't go to bed until almost 3:30 in the morning! Needless to say I slept in. It's time for some currently fun with Farley.
Hello 2015!
Listening- Braxton Family Values is currently on. Tamar is such a spotlight diva!
Loving- My goal was to finish up a few Tpt projects I had in the works, mission accomplished! All that's left is to secure and upload which will wait until tomorrow.
Thinking- I'm looking forward to all that 2015 has to offer me! The 5th of this month I'll be a presenter for my district's staff development. In June I'm going to Disney World with a teacher friend for EdCamp Magic!! (It's free to attend and tickets are still available so hurry!) And.... I've been browsing the seller's forum of Tpt and there's talk already for the conference in Vegas! I will definitely be there in July. I might be shy and not talk much, but I'll be there.
Wanting- A couple of days ago I noticed some sniffles and a stuffy nose. Thankfully I have no fever or cough.
Needing- I need to go to sleep so I wake up on time to take my mom to the airport.
Yes- I want to be better about cooking meals at home. I have a bad habit of constantly going out to eat or ordering food. If anyone has suggestions  for cooking meals for one person I'd love to hear.
Maybe- So far I've participated in six 5k races. I'd love to work up to a 10k and eventually a half marathon. Ok, half marathon is a strong maybe in the distant future.
Wish- I know we just started a new year, but my mom and I have played around with the idea of visiting NYC during Christmas. Maybe this year we can plan and go.
Don't forget to link up and share your currently!

  1. It's never to early to make travel plans. I think it's fun to make them in advance to have something to look forward too. Looks like you will be going a lot of places this year! I didn't know about the Disney World conference and I live in Orlando. I'm going to check that out. I need to be better about eating at home too. It's just so easy to pick food up! I've been pinning meals on Pinterest today. I usually eat each meal twice once for dinner and then again for lunch the next day. I hope you feel better and can get some rest this weekend. Have a great year! :)

    1. I'm super excited about EdCamp! My friend and I are gonna spend a few days at Disney World after it's over. I need to pin some more easy dinner and lunch recipes this weekend. Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Such a cute blog! I was able to go to the 1st TpT Conference & plan to go back this year! {I am only getting started with my store though..patience & persistance} I hope to see you there this summer. I understand the challenge of eating out too often...was single for a long time, so I get the cooking for one thing & now we live out of town, but our family has activities in town just about every night....hard to eat healthy!
    Thanks,

    1. I can't wait for Vegas in July! I've been once before, and didn't get to see and do as much as I wanted.

  3. That's awesome that you'll be presenting for your district. I love to share my ideas and practices, but it's so hard just to present in front of teachers at my own school. Ack! EdCamp Magic sounds awesome! Who wouldn't want to participate in PD at DisneyWorld?! I heart all things Disney. Do you live near the park?

I went to the TpT conference last year and it was awesome! I would recommend making a plan to meet up with people prior to going though. The meet up the night before was so overwhelming because there were soooo many people. It would help to know or have someone to hang out with. Or just make friends when you get there. People are really friendly! :)

    1. Hi Carol, thanks for stopping by! I live in Texas, but a friend and I are gonna make a vacation of EdCamp and spend a few days at Disney World after the conference.
As of now my Vegas plan is to see if I can first get a friend to go with me. I'll still attend even if I fly out solo. I need to find out in the next few months which of my blogging and Instagram buddies plan on going as well.
